Influenced policy change through creative advocacy campaign with award-winning tactics.
During the mid-to-late-2000s, the tech industry was experiencing a major trade problem. Working with the leading trade association and its 2,000+ members, we created a multi-faceted advocacy campaign to influence state and federal officials and policy makers on the importance of global trade to the tech industry and the overall global economy.
The campaign utilized traditional and social media channels, but we also took it up a notch by adding a coast-to-coast bus tour to meet with stakeholders and visit our members’ factories to educate them on how products are made. Additionally, we launched an ad campaign in print and radio. The entire campaign was a success as the association’s membership was spotlighted and was able to provide real-world, firsthand stories to the stake holders influencing policy and driving change that helped the industry grow.
