Established award program to honor Members of Congress who championed pro-business travel policies.
The Navigator Awards program was created to complement the association’s annual fly-in. Through special recognition, the program allowed the association to draw the attention and attendance of Members of Congress who championed the goals of the association. It was paid major dividends as 10 Members of Congress accepted awards during the fly-in, giving the association membership a front-row seat to hear their insights during comments delivered after accepting the award.
The fly-in day is a critical component to any association’s overall advocacy plans and creating this awards program allowed the association to showcase the ROI to membership.
