Awards recognize remarkable achievements of associations in communications and engagement

(Alexandria, VA) December 7, 2023—OnWrd & UpWrd Marketing and Communications, Inc., publisher of The Association 100 (A100), today announced the inaugural winners of the 2023 A100 CommImpact Awards. The A100 CommImpact Awards are a prestigious program dedicated to celebrating the remarkable achievements of associations in the world of communications and engagement. The awards were presented today at a virtual awards ceremony.

The A100 recognized associations in seven key categories—Advocacy Excellence, Best Media Relations Campaign, Innovative Content Strategy, Thought Leadership and Research, Effective Member Engagement Initiative, Event Promotion and Leadership in Public Awareness Campaign, and received submissions from across the U.S. and Canada.

Best Media Relations Campaign: NAFA Fleet Management Association
For developing an outstanding media outreach strategy, enhancing exposure and fostering industry connections.

Innovative Content Strategy: American Society for Nondestructive Testing
For being true pioneers in content creation and enhancing engagement across diverse formats.

Thought Leadership and Research: ANCOR
For their groundbreaking initiative, which addressed workforce challenges, impacted policy discussions and drove systemic change.

Effective Member Engagement: American Hotel & Lodging Association
For their work behind National Hotel Employee Day, which fostered appreciation and engagement across the hospitality industry.

Event Promotion Excellence: NAIOP Toronto Chapter
For putting on a stellar, sold-out Awards Gala, which showcased their strategic marketing capabilities. 

Leadership in Public Awareness Campaign: Tennessee Concrete Association
For their innovative marketing campaign, which bridged the gap between the education and concrete industries and industry connections.

The efforts of this year’s awards winners highlight the outstanding efforts and initiatives of associations that have leveraged effective communication strategies to make a meaningful impact on their members, communities and society at large.
